Loisaba Star Beds
The property is in untamed bush but is also a working cattle farm, boasting views that extend for hundreds of miles - to Mount Kenya, the Lolldaiga Hills and the Mathews Range. Exclusive to Loisaba, each Star Bed is a raised, hand-crafted wooden platform sculpted into a kopje of rocks and semi-covered with a thatched roof. Natural 'Mukokoteni beds' can either be wheeled out onto the uncovered area for a night under the stars or left under the shelter of the roof. Accessible only by camel, horseback or on foot, guests are guided by a team of traditional guides to the sites.

Situated on the border of Laikipia & Kenya's rugged Northern Frontier District & only a few miles from the equator.

ACCOMMODATION
2 sets of star beds with a a private toilet with a camp style drum shower. Kiboko star beds are just 20 minutes from Loisaba Lodge and are located among a kopje of rocks in one of the eastern valleys overlooking the 'Kiboko' waterhole. Koija star beds are located 30 minutes from Loisaba Lodge on the banks of the Ewaso Niro River. These are situated over the flowing river and are reached by footbridge from the opposite bank.
BOARD BASIS
Breakfast, lunch, dinner, soft drinks, beer, house wines & non-luxury spirits are included. Champagne, special wines & luxury spirits are payable locally.
